Somber Mood At Miranda Lambert Video Shoot

Miranda Lambert, "Four The Record"

Miranda Lambert, "Four The Record"

Nashville, TennesseeThis week, Global Special Effects worked with Miranda Lambert & crew to produce the music video for her single, “Over You” off the brand-new album, Four The Record.  Filmed in the woods of The Cedars of Lebanon, GSE provided snow, fog and haze to establish the feel of a cold winter day.  We used our snow machine, the T-1500 Snow Zone, for the backdrop of snow, while the T-1100 filled in the foreground to complete the realistic effect.

The music video’s production comes after the tragic loss of Miranda’s close friend & yet another tragic loss of the director’s father.  The song is about the brother of country music superstar Blake Shelton, who is married to Lambert.  Shelton’s brother died in an unfortunate car accident back in 1990, and sources say Miranda and her husband were brought to tears when co-writing the song for the album.  The mood for the video is set to be a somber reminder of those we have loved and lost.  Post production should wrap up soon and you will be able catch the new video on Miranda’s website, www.mirandalambert.com.
